JH> 1) Nasty hack; Grab an image off of another band, etc... BC> I doubt the PRO-26 has image interference. Well....actually... Search the Aircraft areas of 127.000-135.000 (not exact, but that's close, to where the Pro-26 picks up) only remember to change from AM mode to FM mode. I found this by playing with a pro=26 when they first arrived, and recently tried it again...still works. I don't know that you'll recieve all the freqs from the original band, and as always...your mileage may vary. Nope, it isn't a clean way to do things...and I didn't puchase a pro-26 then, and probably won't in the future either...I'll stick with my GRE versions. :) --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: River Canyon Rd. (Many European scanning laws still being FG> even tighter than ours, I would guess so...) I can only speak for the UK, but scanners for sale here never have any bits of the spectrum "nobbled". Paradoxically, although the laws here are pretty strict about what you can and cannot listen to, it is quite ermissable to sell, buy and own a radio that is capable of picking up Cellphones, the Police, Cordless phones etc. Of course you mustn't ACTUALLY listen to these :-)) Don't quote me on this, but some European countries demand that Rxs have blocks on the spectrum outside of the broadcast and ham bands. ISTR reading that in Germany, even SW receivers have to have some parts of their range blocked. Hope this helps.
