Yes I have have my COCO's... And as long as they serve my needs... I woulden't call it a herd tho... Just a few. But to group that with bein' against the development of the I-net would be hog wash! Besides at the April 26th CoCo Fest in Chicago I talked with a software developer who is working on a Inet browser for the COCO. It sounded impressive for these little machines... 19.2 baud rate included... I do have a 386 here and am building another. Because I'm into the electronic side of things I like to see what makes them work. With the COCO I can also work with the software to cuz I understand it. Maby once I dig into the MSDOS and Windoz and get an understanding of it I can do the same there. But I just can't see pointing and clicking to do things. Sure it's easy... But do you realy know what yer doing??? I don't think so. The software does it for you! Too damn easy... I'd rather walk on solid ground and know the inside as well as the outside of my file structure. Floating was never good enough for me... Any one can do that! SDPD has about 100 talkgroups, and SD Fire has more than that. I would like another Spectra, but they're getting a bit hard to find.
