These are Federal troops, Only when federalized. Not until then. Check it out. DN> I'm not the one that's confused. DN> You might need to check up on just what that "notification" DN> really says (or asks) and when it has to be submitted. No need to. Used to be the person who wrote the plans, for callup, for the 103d TCS in Orange CT, and then the 118TAW, in Schenectady NY. Worked in the Mobility plans section, among other things. Kept familiar with the plans, as a MA. Painfully familiar with the procedures, legalities, and formalities. You, however, appear to be confused, and ill informed. But enough of this. The answer is clear, and you just do not want to see it. No need to take it any further. But, to steer this back to Scanners, did you know that the 118th used to use 163.4875? What do you use for your monitoring? I use a MR8100, RS 2004, and a RS2005 n the house, 855 XLT in the office, and a bunch of commercial Two way stuff in the vehicles. --- PPoint 1.98 * Origin: KD4RME, The POINT of it all.... Yes, we saw it in Crystal Lake, the heard it serval nights later at about 4am when it returned to Chicago. I'll never forget the sound of #4449's whistle in the night -- we could hear it for over 15 minutes as he rolled east. Exceptionally cool. I think they had soem difficulty with #4449 at Northwestern Station because she's a huge locomotive and wouldn't clear some obstacles like the train shed! >My husband is a real rail buff.
