If an OS/2 version of TSE/Pro were likely, I would not be looking for another editor at this time. The only feature of TSE/Pro I have yet been disappointed in is the syntax highlighting. I enjoyed the CUA/Borland feel most of all. The grey+-* clipboard is annoying at first but is easily mapped to CUA keys. I haven't because I am now used to using them, but ill. I realize now that TSE/Jr would have been a far better choice and then I would have had an upgrade path to the OS/2 version. Even if the DOS version supported the OS/2 clipboard it'd be nice. Even if it just called it a "Windows clipboard".. As it is, I must run Win-OS/2 then command form that before QEdit's clipboard is compatible with OS/2. That's a nasty bit of overhead and as you can imagine, I don't use it. FWIW, I'm looking at an Emacs variant. Will compile anywhere I can get gcc set up, which does mean DOS and OS/2. Plus it has ability not found in TSE/Pro. There is a learning curve, however. I'd much rather have TSE/Pro for OS/2. --- Renegade v5-11 Exp * Origin: Kaat's Keep / Salem, OR USA / 503-375-0567 (1:3406/7)
