It's just too much of a hassle, and two many of the features are hidden and not told about. Such as: I couldn't find any references that you loose the start-up menu when you register, and any info of the macro language seems to be completely removed... Also, I couldn't get any of the macros from TSE2 to work with the TD, and vice versa... No, we haven't had any other reports like this. In fact, many of our beta testers (and several of us in-house) run TSE under DV all the time, with no problems. What version of DV are you using? So far I have been able to trap the line an column IP> numbers of the error, but can not seem to make it find the error IP> description. The trick here is the \c option in regexp: In the compile macro I leave the cursor at the position as specified by the "Error" search string for all subsequent searches. Here's the setup which should work for you: Ŀ Error [Error in file {.#} line {[0-9]#}\c ] Options [ ] Filename [ ] Options [ ] Tag [ 1] Line [ ] Options [ ] Tag [ 2] Column [ ] Options [ ] Tag [ ] Message [^.*$ ] Options [ ] Tag [ 0] By specifying a '\c' at the end of the "Error" search string, the "Message" search string of '^.*$' will match the next line (which is the error message) You could also modify your own setup by setting the "Error" to 'Error\c' and the "Message" search string to '^.*$' and the "Message" tag to '0'. I simply combined as much info as possible in the "Error" search string to make it the search a little more "unique". Good luck.
