And they brought cooler temps with them, too. It only made it into the upper 40s today. Sorry to be so slow in answering. I've been having a terrible time again with sleep apnea. After going a whole month the first of the year being tired and utterly blotto, I was doing much better....until about the second week of April. I started noticing some of the same symptoms returning, and got up feeling worse each day until Thurs., the 16th, when I crashed worse than ever before. I was housebound until this weekend, trying to catch the doctor. I managed to get squeezed into the doc's office on Saturday morning, which I was afraid would make me really miserable, but I managed pretty well to my surprise. I got a neighbor to drive me down there, and afterwards, up to K-Mart to drop off a prescription and pick up a few things I was low on. I napped a bit more in the afternoon, but didn't wipe out as bad as I feared. I had been trying to relay questions and symptoms through her nurse, which just wasn't getting it done... I had sent her a letter a week ago telling her about the problem, and she talked with me about that first. She said they were working on adding another doctor to the office, and maybe another nurse or person to handle the phone calls. She said at times, they really get overloaded with them, as many as 100 in one day recently. Anyway, she has me set up to be retested at the sleep lab on May 28th, and in the meantime has me trying Trazadone at bedtime to help me sleep. Seems to work ok - no problems with it. I'm finally doing a bit better. Yesterday (Sun.) I managed to drive myself up to K-Mart to pick up a couple of prescriptions and bring something back to eat. I was a little wobbly the rest of the day, but then I've been doing very little for over a week...
