SS> SS> I think the views afforded by the roof cams add a lot to watching a race SS> on TV, but I can also understand the "level playing field" concept that SS> NASCAR tries to enforce. As a solution, why not put a roof-cam HOUSING SS> on all the race cars? I'm sure it's the housing, not the camera SS> itself, that affects the aerodynamics of the race cars. The part about the "more interesting viewing" is true, to say the least. Nothing quite like being "in the driver's seat" or on the car itself. As for the pods on all cars, it has become known to me that each make of car reacts to the cams differently, what might help a Chevy might not help a ord, and vice versa. |12enforcer@inficad.com |13http://www.inficad.com/~enforcer --- GEcho 1.20/Pro * Origin: Silicon Speedway in Mesa AZ - 602-464-9676 (1:114/511) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 142 AUTO RACING Ref: E3U00011 Date: 03/24/97 From: CHRIS EGELAND Time: 07:42am \/To: RICHARD K.
