SW> -=Stephanie=- Well maybe those two could have given Gordon a run for his money, but since they both drove Fords, chances are they would have been contesting with Mark Martin back around 5th or 6th. The Monte had such an advantage last year, I can't think of anyone not in a bowtie who could have won the championship. I think like you that Alan was a GREAT driver but I think that Jeff Gordon is as good a driver as I've ever seen in NASCAR and I remember my father taking me to see Fireball Roberts racing Richard Petty and the group so that tells you how long I've been interested in NASCAR racing. Of course don't get me wrong, Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt, Alan Kulwicki, Davey Allison and others are and WERE GREAT drivers but I think Gordon is just one tick better than them. L8er.
