When he was with Ferrari, we all assumed the Ferrari let him down. This winter, we all saw Schu struggle with the car. Now, none of the Benetton are doing anything; this weekend, both did not finish and I don't really see why (I mean whatever reason it was, it wasn't as clear as Hill, Schu, Vill, Irvine,... Most of all, it didn't seemed to be Alesi's fault as we saw Flavio tap him on the back... I see what you mean and can understand it, but for me it is a little early in the season to judge. I want to see where he will be after the French GP (mind you he is 3rd in the point standing!) CW> i never really adopted berger anymore than i did alesi. Berger has been a long time favorite of mine. It all goes back to the Benetton era, the year he won in Mexico, and failed to win in Austria on a battery problem... Sorry, I have to agenda with Mr. Hakkinen... The only thing i'm trying to point out is the last two years (Mercedes and first year of Peugeot) weren't a success with McLaren. In both theses years he was considered first driver over Brundle and I don't remember who. And in Senna's year, he was inferior: who wouldn't! >EF: He wasn't been the same since. CW> too early to tell. i haven't noticed any change. I find him less aggressive, or shall I say not at the right time. To me, it is the equivalent of comparing Senna in a triple crown McLaren and a Senna in a Lotus or a Toleman.... and wondering why he couldn't win a world championship! The 1990 McLaren and the 1995 McLaren are two WAY different things... Andretti in a 1995 McLaren would already be back in the US, just as Nigel Mansell quit McLaren after two race when he saw what kind of "/$% he was dealing with. I'll remind you that Hakkinen was qualifying better than Mansell in those two race; what does it means I have absolutly no idea! Eric,... ... They're getting away...
