On June 26, on a QVC Star Wars Collectable show, Steve Sansweet said that the preliminary filming of Episode 1 (working title, of course) was started at Leavesdon Studios in England on that day. And the supposed release date is on the official day the Star Wars (or Star Wars: A New Hope to those who call it that) was released (I just can't remember the date, I think it's May 25) and will be released on that day, next year.
