--------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 138 STAR WARS Ref: E5I00049 Date: 05/11/97 From: EARL LAAMANEN Time: 07:57pm \/To: DANIEL LOWE (Read 0 times) Subj: names <\/\/> Quoting Daniel Lowe to Earl Laamanen <\/\/> EL> Ahh, now I know. I just assumed that Owen was angry that his brother EL> Anakin left the "farm" and took off for adventure and ended up as EL> Darth Vader, so he was really reluctant to let his nephew do the EL> same thing. But now that I know the truth, it makes a lot more EL> sense. DL> 1. I don't think Owen would have know that Darth Vader DL> was Anakin, very few people would have know that. DL> 2. What makes you think Owen was Anakin's brother ? At the start of my message up there, I said "now I know". I found out that Owen wasn't Anakin's brother. I only thought that before, but to answer your question, Luke called him UNCLE Owen, and Uncle generally refers to your parent's brother. As I said, I never gave it much thought, if I did, I would have realized that it makes no sense for Owen to be related to Anakin. --- Blue Wave/DOS v2.30 [NR] * Origin: Corpus Callosum, Penticton BC (604) 493-9281 (1:354/250) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 138 STAR WARS Ref: E5I00050 Date: 05/12/97 From: JOS-GABRIEL SATO FOLATRE Time: 10:34pm \/To: TONY PATON (Read 1 times) Subj: Who found Luke&Han Hej, TONY!
