The light is still dissipated over hundreds of -> times the distance it is from the sun. JS> no it's not. there is NOTHING in the vacuum of space to dissipate the JS> light. solar energy is the same strength at Mercury as it is at Pluto. JS> -John So why wouldn't all stars be as bright as our sun is? Because they are farther away. Would a far away star (isn't Alpha Centauri the nearest?) give as much solar energy as our Sun to a satellite in orbit? I don't think so. Uhm, if solar energy is the same from Mercury to Pluto, why is pluto frozen, and mercury much hotter than earth? There's obviously something that has to do with distance which dissipates solar energy. --- Blue Wave/DOS v2.30 [NR] * Origin: Corpus Callosum, Penticton BC (604) 493-9281 (1:354/250) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 138 STAR WARS Ref: E4A00033 Date: 04/05/97 From: GUS KOSMOPOULOS Time: 06:36pm \/To: TONY PATON (Read 2 times) Subj: Boba Fett TP> Ok so the majority here love Mr Fett. My question is, what does TP> he look like under the helmet? Is he a human or some other monster? well so far nobody really knows. In the Dark Horse comics they showed Boba Fett withought his armour on (but the only problem is, this was after Fett got out of the Sarlacc) he had bandages around him, he looked thin and he was badly scarred from the Sarlacc. And he looked human. Another thing is on the back of the Boba Fett figure they say he's human but people don't seem to trust that either.
