Also the reference librarian at your library is a very good person to ask for and to seek help from, especially if the library has a genealogy section. It took two rolls of film to do it and they can be read at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah or any of their branch libraries. If used at a branch library, they may have to be ordered from Utah. These films contain family charts as well as wills, deeds, vital records, marriages, etc. involving this family and the related families of: DUNLAP HUNTER LANHAM SURRATT VIRGIN W(H)ITTEN These records are on Film Nos. 1597889 and 1597890. For those of you who can get to the Citizen's Library in Washington, PA, the originals of these records were placed there. These are in binders. Also, in a back room of the Citizen's Library is a file box of records not filmed with the rest. These are my research into some DICKERSON families in Virginia. Please do not write to me for information on this family as I do not have my records any more to help you. However, I am still doing research on the VIRGIN part of this family and would welcome correspondence if you need help on that line. Good luck in your search.
