As far as those two books I will have to see if I can get them from my library. In my position geographically speaking even the North is down South to me. :) I'm in Canada. The Civil War is not as big a subject here as in the States so will have to cross my fingers and hope they have one of those two books. I'm STILL finding random pieces of paper filed where they shouldn't be. You have my sympathy in the cleanup effort. My mother, Juanita (Collard) was born in Louisville, KY 02-25-1910. She is the only living of several brothers and one sister.
