If so, check out WebFerret. It's a Win95 program which will hit up a BUNCH of search engines at once. And, it's free. Go to www.ferretsoft.com and download the FREEWARE version of their software. Then you can search for the appropriate FAX/VOICE software... MM> I hope we could have such a great facility here in India. :-( Bummer! MM> Here we get a hardware device called the FaxFone. Set one up for FAX/BBS using something like Binkley and BGFAX (Bink detects the "connect fax" and shells out to BGFAX, or on a data connect would shell to the BBS.) A second VOICE modem would act as your voicemail. Doing this under Win95 would probably be your EASIEST solution and not nearly as costly as the FaxFone probably... John ... It does NOT interfere with *ANY* operation with non-USR modems... Their ASL and other technology (some are now finally in the V.34/V.34+ protocal)enables them to run faster, so they did... but they didn't harm the protocal or change it drasticly so that no other modem can communicate with it... In fact, Courier has been THE modem that gives the most speed, no matter what the other modem is... Even the early flakey Sportster become rock stable when hooked onto a Courier... I'm asking for the specific changes, BTW, since it was your contention that USR released an non-compliant version of V.34 because they released it before the standard was ratified.
