If you sent a money order from the post office, I'd go there any tell them to put a freeze on that one and get another one. I might suggest that since the last one didn't get here you might try either registered mail or certified mail just for the safety aspect. I am holding the VLB controller for you. Let me know whenever you can about the outcome at the post office. "Another day with the 'LOST IN SPACE' crew" that supposedly "works" at the post office. Bye for now. I would think that, no matter what, you wouldn't be able to DR> argue that it was satire, or anything else. -!- That is very true but the issue at hand is that there was no advertisement of someone selling Rolex watches in here. Rather, he put an Ad in here advertising Rolex look-alikes. Never once did he post an Ad in here selling Rolex watches that were fakes. My point is very simple, his ad clearly states that they are look-alikes and NOT the real thing. Which in its' content is very legal with NO intention on them being sold as the REAL thing. Had you read ALL of my last message we would NOT be having this discussion at all. My last message here explained it all without question and I no long care to address this topic any longer. However, you are very correct by stating that it would be "illegal to put a name on a watch from another legal corporation (company)." That is not the case here though, the case is someone posting an Ad selling watches that looked like other famous name brand watches. That is also how he stated it in the Ad that they are NOT the real thing but a product that looks like the real one at a fraction of the price. Nothing wrong (legally) with that at all. I don't want you, Dave, to take this letter to you as rough or challenging because it is not. The whole topic in question is from an Ad that was posted in here that was quite legal. Yet someone else felt it was illegal and that it never should have been posted in here. I can not remember the name of either party, as far as I know it could be you for as much as I know. The fact are this: The Ad was very legal and the other party never should have posted that it was illegal, when in fact the Ad was very legal in all of its' content. If you would like an example of how that Ad would have been illegal then here is an example of an illegal Ad. For sale Rolex watches at a fraction of the cost that you would pay for them in a Jewelery Store. I'm selling them for $50.00 plus shipping and handling. Now for example you order the watch and when you get it, the watch turns out to be a fake. The Ad said it was a Rolex, yet it was not. That would be illegal then and that was not what happened.
