Just recently came into ownership of a COMPAQ LTE 386s/20 laptop, (model series 2800) and I'm looking for some of the optional equipment (add ons) for it. A docking base would be nice, a faster modem (ie 14.4 maybe w/FAX), BUSS expansion unit, additional memory cards, and I also need a replacement display enclosure for it, so if you have one of these laptops that's just plain DOA, but not trashed - let me know. I know I can buy SOME of these options NEW, like the internal modem, but I'm not looking to chop off an arm or a leg for it... ;) I don't mind doing a little scrounging or salvage work...
