Howdy David, QuickBasic is a great way to learn what a well designed programming platform should behave like. Much thanks Pat and I have to say stuff like this is what makes these Fido conferences work! I've already arranged a deal with a guy who has the original 4.0 package, along with the original 4.5 upgrade package, with all books and manuals and such, for $45. (Yes, I have a 5.25 inch drive) :-) I'd originally thought $45 was kind of steep when I agreed to this, but since then have seen quite clearly that I have nothing at all to complain about on this one....! This will be the second time I've purchased QB 4.5 secondhand. If the totally unthinkable happens and anything comes out less than ideal, at least I will know where to go once and for all. I just hope thats not necessary...(!) Have A Good One!
