She may have heard the information -> incorrectly or she may be totally insane. If you have any -> information in regards to cats and parvo virus, would you send it my -> way so we can get all this straightened out? OFFICIAL WORD FROM THE VET... Cats carry the virus panleukopenia, not parvo. When vets first discovered the parvo virus in dogs, they used the panleukopenia virus from cats to innoculate dogs against the parvo. Panleukopenia is NOT contagious to dogs, but is contagious to other cats. Parvo is NOT contagious to cats, but is to other dogs.... Hope this helps. I thought that was a no no. My cat licks the bowl after I have chocolate ice cream and he's had no ill effects...well, except for that spare tire swinging down around his middle...hahah Chocolate in big doses, like a piece of a candy bar or a bonbon is not good for the cat however, and it can be downright deadly to a dog... --- WILDMAIL!/WC v4.12 * Origin: Kitty's Keep BBS * 714-871-2227 * Fullerton, CA * (1:103/441.0) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 277 CATS Ref: F3E00051 Date: 03/08/98 From: HARRY HICKEY Time: 01:45am \/To: ALL (Read 0 times) Subj: 1000 points of light I had a female Siamese who liked TV (occasionally). That is, if she saw a small bright figure moving over a dark background, she'd try to paw it on the screen. Cats seem to appreciate the color red. Another Siamese of mine once found a ball of red yarn & chased it around table legs & down the stairs until there was no ball left. After I rolled it up & gave it to my wife, she caarefully stuck it deep in a cardbord box. But the cat was watching, & a few days later she tried to dig it out of the box (not allowed). --- * Origin: * My Place BBS * Bowie, Md USA * V.34 * (301)805-1602 * 1:109/570) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 277 CATS Ref: F3E00052 Date: 03/07/98 From: SEANETTE BLAYLOCK Time: 11:28pm \/To: ROSS SAUER (Read 0 times) Subj: I'm BAAACK!!!! :-) Ross: SB> Hi, everyone!
