It My cat attacked a friend of mine last year, and nobody could figure out why. The cat knew and liked the person. A few days later, my friend discovered the remains of a rat carcass in her house. Apparently, my cat detected the scent of dead rat on her, and did what cats do to rats! Once the rat carcass was removed, her house fumigated, and her showered, the cat was back to normal with her. --- Msged/2 4.10 * Origin: Nerve Center - Source of the SPINAL_INJURY echo! Just keep -> the water 'barely warm' and dont splash lots. MK> Head and Shoulders will not kill fleas! Use Advantage or Program MK> a few times a year and there won't be a flea problem. :-) Sorry, but it will. It isnt a lasting 'dip' type treatment, but it works. Used it for years after being referred to it by a vet. Might add, bathing a cat is *easy* if you do it regular as every other week, nad hard as hell if you do it just a few times a year. Cats object to the 'abnormal' washing, but are quite content with a regular bath, as long as it *is* a regular one in just a few inches of barely warm water. (Some prefer bubble bath). Using advantage or program, is too strong of a chemical solution for my preferance. Its possible Roscoe might be allergic to it and i wont chance that. xxcarol --- Telegard v3.09.g1 * Origin: SHENK'S EXPRESS Norfolk VA 757-486-3057 28.8 Dual (1:275/100) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 277 CATS Ref: EGC00000 Date: 12/06/97 From: GUS GERE Time: 10:26pm \/To: JO PESHEK (Read 0 times) Subj: Kitty Littering JP>Sure, but these cats live in the almost tropics. Oh, I hope not. :-( I have an eight-foot tall Cedar wardrobe I inherited from a relative, and have it standing in my kitchen as a closet. At one time it was Soo Ling's favorite place to sit and watch everone (she was still quite little, maybe 6 months). One evening I came back from the grocery store, and as I was unloading groceries, some potatoes escaped from the sack and went rolling across the floor. Apparently she thought I needed help in catching them, as she did a BANZAI! off the top of the wardrobe and landed heavily on her feet. She just stood there for a minute with a dazed expression, which allowed me to grab her and check her out. She was fine, but she never pulled that particular maneuver again.
