Oh, I agree with you about patronizing stores that are either pro or neutral on the gun issue. One particular chain that irks me, though, is Wally World. The WalMart closest to me is posted, on one door anyway, and one which I don't use :-), while the next closest one isn't. Grrrr! Yet Sam's Club (the warehouse side of WalMart) is neutral to pro. I actually had one of the check-out guys ask me how I liked my Galco Escort fanny pack that my Sig 226 resides in as I was leaving the store. Our local PD just bought a FATS (Fire Arms Training Simulator) that will be installed in their new HQ; about $80k. From what I hear, it's about the next best thing to being on the range. The shooters tend to go in real casual-like but the palms start to sweat =real= fast once the action starts. :-) The neat thing is that they're talking about opening it up to the public when it's not being used by the officers. What I want to load, though, are BRI-style saboted slugs as I've been told that they are more accurate than rifled slugs.
