--------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 275 GUNS Ref: D5P00136 Date: 05/12/96 From: JOHN PERZ Time: 07:27pm \/To: ALL (Read 2 times) Subj: 22 caps I want to thank Mike Hughes & John Donohue for their replies to my request for more info on 22 caps. It was interesting that Mike says the CB caps will penetrate a half inch piece of plywood, whereas John says anything soft will stop a BB cap. Guess the BB cap is what I want for basement practice. If I remember correctly, the BB cap uses a round ball of 22 cal and the CB cap uses a conical bullet (the same as the 22 Short?). I also seem to remember (I think I remember) that the BB caps might not use any powder at all, they were propelled soley by the primer.
