I forget why, but I reinstalled OS/2, and I'm unable to get ny of them working properly now. :( Java 1.1.4 still doesn't display the icons in the browser install. I had to do a CID install, which worked fine last time.. but this time it didn't seem to. Only thing different was last time I installed the examples and his time I didn't. Someone said I need to modify my NETSCAPE.PKG file, but I dunno what to change. :) So I installed it via CID. ICQ starts up, tries connecting, and stops. If I try it again, it oesn't even flicker "connecting". Before I was getting an error message that I now can't reproduce. Netscape/nov appeared to install properly. It made the same changes it did before to my config.sys. When I go the system information applet (http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Heights/9885/osapplet.html), it says I'm on v1.14. But after that it didn't exit properly and now it locks up hen I try loading it. GO shows NETSCAPE listed there, but I can't kill it. CAD commander isn't able to kill it either. I'm not sure what the problem is. Any ideas? :) C. That beats me unless the software is not setup properly, I get the same with either, INJOY, IBM Dialer, and PPP.EXE.
