If you had success in doing this, please let me know. I did get it working with Internet Gate, but I have a Web Server, FTP server, and Telnet Server setup on this system and it will not et me run the servers at the same time with Internet Gate up. Any help ould be appreciated. I did find one occassion where locking at 115200 showed some improvement. The system was using In-Joy to connect to a local provider with IP masquarading turned on and I was attempting to play Quake/2 from another system. I must say attempt, because I really have to be one of the worst Quake players there is. My other system only has a 14.4 modem, so if I want to try playing Quake, I must route through the BBS that has a 28.8. Afterwards, I also tried using Netscape and ftp to see if the faster baud rate showed improvement, and it appeared that using the higher baud rate did help. However, I do not have an conclusive evidence, it was just an impression. joe --- timEd/2 1.10 * Origin: After Hours BBS (717)865-2636 USR DS 16.8 (1:270/315) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 273 OS/2 INTERNET Ref: EAY00009 Date: 06/25/97 From: WILLIAM MASTOP Time: 07:54am \/To: ALL (Read 2 times) Subj: ppp.exe errorlevels Does ppp.exe that comes with os/2 version 4 have an errorlevels? I've tried a couple of simple tests, and checked the docs, but have not found anything as yet. The goal is to run ppp.exe from the command line, have it dial my isp, and if it fails to connect, then to call back and try again. I do not want it to do an endless loop, where it calls back every time the session is over, as this is for unattended news and mail pickup. I've found, and built, a script that will just keep calling, but that's not what I want. I only want it to call back if it fails to actually connect, like due to a busy, or no dialtone.
