I've got the DWB photonovel of POTD, and enjoy it quite a HK> bit. That and the audio are about all we've got for the time being. We used to have a gentleman here who was THE DW curmudgeon, and he even went so far as to go to Africa to attempt to find some of the possibly lost stories there. Poor guy barely got out of Zaire with his life, and no money. Anyways, when he was in London at one point, he ran across someone whom he felt certain possessed a copy of at least the first part of "Power." I don't remember the details, and I know that there are a lot of BSers and con artists out there, but I'll take this guy's word for it (in other words, "friend of a friend" story). What I remember was that the person who allegedly held the thing had it in for the BBC, and was going to "show them a thing or two" by not returning the story. I really wish that if the guy's out there, he'd pull his head out and return the story. At this point, the BBC doesn't even necessarily want the film; they just want to make a good copy of it. If anything, I'd cough it up in exchange for my name being listed in the credits as the guy who returned it. :) --- GoldED 3.00.Beta3+ - Spank Our Wombats! * Origin: Tell me who lies dead among the Cybermen (1:124/9005) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 270 DR WHO/BRIT SCIF Ref: FAS00069Date: 06/09/98 From: STEVE QUARRELLA Time: 08:14am \/To: ALL (Read 0 times) Subj: WHO FDN -- addition Hello, All...
