You are buying 14 holds of fuel each loop-- how many loops are you run and not exhaust this port? Why don't you ever use real numbers? How many xpoints are you planning to get, running mj? Whatever number you buy, I will buy fewer, I can do more loops than you at the same port. JP> Remember, we got extra points triple trading to get the money to JP> mega-jettison. No, I don't remember. You don't use real numbers so it's hard to know what you are doing. Exactly how many points are you expecting to make running mj? JP> And again, the few cents you save are hardly worth the effort. Few cents? I thought you tried to play efficiently? How many loops are you running-- since you are going to be paying more than $300 credits to buy EQ when I am spending $100? Each loop- and that's just looking at EQ. jP> But I'm not going to mega-jettison by hand just because jP> you advocate it. I have *never*, *ever* advocated mj'ing by hand in favor of a script. Never, never, never, never. You *really* have a problem with your inferences. I said *if* **IF** you did it by hand, that it was easy enough to do because the prices fall in the same (much cheaper) bracket. And I *further* suggested, oh, ye who gets lost at the comma, that *IF* **IF** you used a script, that you could change the script to reflect the better price. ... I know how to buy more xpoints with less money than you. You problem is not knowing beans, but eating beans. I buy more experience with less money using the same or few turns. I think that should be good enough. JP> Why don't you come into the 20th century and upgrade like you jp> always whine for me to do? I like my comm program just fine-- it doesn't run scripts. The few I know of are... 1) Post a hit in the Underground at Stardock 2) Use a 4 letter word when you talk to the Grimy Trader 3) Blow up a port 4) Self destruct The first one must be done when your alignment isn't above +50 (it may be lower), or they won't let you in the Underground. The second one works only for each time you leave the Grimy Trader, then return to "cuss him". I don't think it works repeatedly. The third one requires you have good ship defenses, or you'll be toast. I don't recommend the last one, as it knocks you out of the game for 2 ys. --- * OLX 1.53 * Nothing succeeds like the appearance of success. * PDQWK 2.5 #5 --- GTMail 1.26 * Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS, Little Rock, AR (501) 568-4915 (1:3821/33.0) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 124 TRADE WARS Ref: F4E00033 Date: 04/08/98 From: DAVID E.
