If anyone out there rememebrs the show, the Six Million Dollar Man, suggest you go to a local Library, and ask for the book CYBORG' of which the series (and the pilot movie) were based. a Cyborg, is a combining of both artificial (mechanical, Etc.) & organic being.. Steve Austin, was given Bionic Limbs, and an eye.. Hence, he became a Cyborg. Half Man, Half machine. The BORG, in the ST:TNG series & movie to be released, are born organic, and practically after birth, cybernetic implants are added.. Cybermen, are originally organic, and turned into cyborgs as well, But DALEKS, are NOT CYBORGS!!!! Dyleks are the Mutated remains of what had been the Kaleds (reference Tom Baker series, Genesis Of The Daleks', Kaled (Not 100% sure on this one) scientist Davros forced the mutation, caused by constant chemical warfare between the Kaleds & the Thals (?? Correct me if I'm wrong.) on the planet Scarro. The Mark-III Battle transport is what gives the Daleks a 'Robot' look.) As for the Cybermen being organic, yes, you're right... I'm trying to remember the story name, The Doctor (REALLY digging into memory, I'm sure it was Colin Baker.) & Peri (Nichol Bryant) were captured by the Cybermen, and brought to a world where several cybermen were in suspended animation, (cold storage, Litteral), and the original inhabitants of the world were sabotaging the place, by forcing some of the ones in suspended animation to de-freeze, before they were ready... I also seem to remember durring the Peter Davidson series, a particular bad-guy, durring the final episode with Teegan, (a group of daleks had attempted to break Davros out of a cryo-prison, so that he could combat a virus that was attacking the Daleks) .. the guy was a hired-gun by the Daleks, he later became a Cyberman (or, was in the process of becomming one, durring the Colin baker episode I'm mentioning above.) Hell, Tom SQ>Baker could be dead by then... JM>Don't even say it! :-) JD> Yah, looks like they're dying In Order... T.Baker'll be next, followed JD> by P.D... I wouldn't say that... McCoy appeared MUCH older than both of them in the movie... As for the ones who've been saying that McOy was really hurt by the change of plots turning the show into a Children's adventure.. Little do they realize, Doctor Who, was Originally a children's series to begin with! In actuality, it really was the producers & writers, who eventually killed it.. the storys got Too sketchy (we're talking plots with more holes than a log of Alpine-Lace Swiss cheese!), and too jumpy/short attention span type. I, myself, was disappointed with the movie.. Same problem.. too sketchy. virtually NO action, with very little plot.. Speaking of Multiple Doctor episodes, What was the reason why Tom Baker was never included in 'The 5 Doctors'? aside from brief parts from his series, and trapping his character (& Romana) ? I seem to remember around the same time, Tom Baker was playing the part of a rogue Interpol agent, in a short-lived series over here in the states, 'Remmington Steele'.. 3rd side note... Around 1992, there was a software company, called Admiral Software... Apparently they produced a few computer games based on the series.. One I've personally seen, 'Dalek Attack'.. Yes, I have seen the 'cracked' version, but two questions.. (1) does the company exist, and if they still do, where? (2) do they still have the game for sale? I'm interested in obtaining a Legal, and fully functional copy.. I've seen some nasty quirks on the Cracked version.. (cracked how: somehow, the original game demanded the original disk in drive A:... somehow, somebody figured how to get around it, but also did major damage to the game as well.) Thanks, Stephen ...
