Yep is it a CLASS 1 FAX modem AFAIK type AT+FLASS=? it should report 0,1 it it reports 2 also then you have a fax class 2 modems also. RT> If so what is the init.string? as GPFax wont look at it. One of my downlinks was attempting to run one of these on his board. I believe he eventually got it working right, but it gave him a heck of a fight. Fast modem though, and probably fine for making BBS and Internet calls. What do you mean? The SupraFAXmodem and SupraSONIC are the only two that are flashable... the sonic is nice cause it is a voice modem (If you really need that) and because it has a funky two line LCD display that you can program with whatever you want it to say (everything from caller ID data to a message saying "Have a nice day"). The Fax models are also rock solid. I seem to be able to connect with more modems then even the courier v.everything (even those el cheepo V.FC winmodem things.
