In the event that this is not possible, no return orrespondence may occur (or such correspondence as is possible may be greatly delayed). Please do not request contact via a medium other than that which you used for your correspondence, as this places a much larger load on our staff by increasing the time and resources required to properly service each case. If you look closely at USR's information though, you'll notice that x2 requires the server to be digitally connected to the phone system in order for the receiver to be able to achieve 56k speeds. From the little I read, x2 seems to be sort of a cross between a traditional modem and ISDN. Its a neat idea, but because of the way it works two average people with analog phone lines and x2 compatable modems will not be able to connect to each other at anything higher than 33.6k. :/ At least that's how I understood it. USR's x2 'information' was largely marketing hype and didn't get very technical, so I could be mistaken. Janet ... I'm clinging to sanity by a thread. I would especially think so since the installation was free.
