I loaded 1.440-22 about a week ago. It did fix the RT bug for me. I also had some trouble loading the beta flash. It turned out that I was using the "PNS" macro in an old version of {Commo}. Running {Commo} v7.0 with Fred's original macros uploads the flash just fine. If anyone does this, remember to use the "S" protocol, not the "X" protocol. The "X" protocol is 1K Xmodem. I found out a little more info that is really strange. I have two lines at the house, a BBS and a voice line. When my SupraFaxModem 28.8 is hooked up to my BBS line, it will not disconnect the line when either dropping DTR or sending the ATH0 string. When my SupraFaxModem 28.8 is hooked up to my voice line, it does disconect the line when it recieves the ATH0 string. My SupraSonic 33.6 will disconnect either line when recieving the ATH0 ring. I tested it using a comm program by connecting a telephone to the modem and then sending the ATH1 string to the modem to take the line off-hook. I waited until I got the obnoxoius beeps then sent the ATH0 string. I then could pick up the reciever of the phone and see if I was still getting beeps, or a dial-tone. The SupraSonic worked fine. The SupraFaxModem failed to disconnect the line on every test with the BBS line, and did just fine on the voice line. I tested it using both comm ports to make sure it wasn't a port related oblem. I'm stumped... any ideas? Could the telephone line be the problem? Why would one modem work on both lines and another modem only work on one? Help!
