Then I'll know from firsthand experience and extremist from either corner can scream all they want for or against it. I would have seen living or dead proof that it is what it claims and most of all lets me get my work done without imposing undue demands in time, use or lack thereof, and actually make it easier to use my computer. Won't for sure until you try it no matter how much distrust you have for it ( as do I ), give it a chance to speak for itself. --- * PW * --- Corvette BBS LV,NV 702-431-2284 * Origin: (1:209/218) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 263 WINDOWS '95 Ref: FA300064 Date: 05/24/98 From: JAMES WOMACK Time: 09:22am \/To: FRANCOIS HEIZMANN (Read 6 times) Subj: Win95/NT compared to Lin FH>Hi Alan! Perhaps my messages on LINUX crossed your valid and just (and this is a serious statement meant in respect) admonishments. Fidonet messages don't always reach everybody in a timely manner. However, after THIS message, I am the first to agree that no further discussion on LINUX SHOULD occur from my end. Cause I have no further excuses as it's now obvious I have seen your messages and consider myself obligated to respect the moderators' requirements. I don't argue with a mod. Can we live with that? Just one thing. If any LINUX messages from me do pop up, compare them with the message number and date you receive this message and what m i g h t show up later due to some routing or quirk that sometimes sends dupes or wayward messages. I prefer you hit me on a clear and resent violation as is you job, but not on something that is not my fault. I've seen some ugly things happen to others due to dupes and such. I'd rather not experience it. --- * PW * --- Corvette BBS LV,NV 702-431-2284 * Origin: (1:209/218) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 263 WINDOWS '95 Ref: FA300066 Date: 05/25/98 From: JAMES WOMACK Time: 07:50am \/To: ERIC KAERCHER (Read 6 times) Subj: New PKZip Finally! :-( HM> PKWare has released a new version of PKZip for Windows95/NT =COMMA HM> LINE=, version 2.50 (not to be confused with the GUI version 2.60) I don't understand.
