You already have the DOS utility MSD (MS Diagnostics). One of the many things it does is list the IRQs. The version 2.10 which came with the original W95 was buggy, and was replaced (I use 2.13, which may not be the most recent). But even 2.10 could list the IRQ status. There are several other utilities, some free, some $hareware, which do similar inventories of the system, some from DOS, some from Windows. the Jerry Murphy in Lakewood, Ohio, USA * DeLuxe2 1.21 #8814 * The pudding is in the proof! --- InterEcho 1.19 * Origin: Nerd's Nook, Westlake OH, U.S.A. The last time I looked at the USR USB modem it was $100.00 more that regular serial modem... Gee I can't wait to see my pocket book emptied for all the new stuff that is just so much better the "Old Stuff". ;-) And then there's the $100.00 for Win98 and then you'll need to upgrade some of you other software (Cleansweep, Powerdesk & others) to work with Win98.. ...Smash forehead on keyboard to continue... It said that Microsoft has delayed the release of the program...AGAIN. It didn't say what the new date is. I also saw QVC (home shopping network) debut the Win98. It looked real cool. They (QVC) were taking advance orders. They said that the buyers would receive the program on June 25th. I started to order it, but decide not to with all the problems and the DOJ trying to get Microsoft to make last-minute changes and delay the release. I wonder if that means that the ones that have ordered it in advance will cancel their orders. Imagine, some people have already placed orders and paid for it; and have no idea when they will get t, if it is EVER released. I say enough already...let Microsoft release the program. The DOJ know that users are waiting anxiously for the day to come. What even more funny is that the very ones that are trying to delay the release, are the ones that will be first in line to get it. If it is going to be released, then release it already....if not, then tell us and quit stringing us along. They can't even decide what the price is...I have heard $50, 89-99, and even as high as $109. I also know that you don't even need Win95 to upgrade. All you need is reg. windows and it is the same program (no full version). I on't think that is fair. The ones that have win95 should at least get a discount. The ones that benefit from this are the ones that didn't upgrade to win95, since they don't have to buy a diff. version of Win98. I am not sure...but I believe that Win95 had two versions...upgrade and full. The people that didn't have win 3.11 had to get the full version, which cost more. The ones that had win 3.11 could purchase the much cheaper upgrade version. Again, I am not sure if this info is correct. Even if it is not, I stlii think that users should get a discount for having Win95. THIS IS REALLY GETS ME UPSET AND I JUST HAD TO SAY SO!!!!!!!!!
