I have a USR Modem 28.8 V.34 and V.32 bis, running Windows'95-A-. The problem is that most fax machines, or most people, when sending a fax, don't press the start button until they here the other side's fax tone. The thing is that, my modem doesn't start the fax tone until the fax machine starts, and then it also Starts. When you call a number which has a fax machine on it, what ever you do, when it picks up the line, it will automatically start to "handshake" or to "connect" to a fax machine. I want the same thing to happen to my modem. I have tried as much Fax Programs as I have hair on my head with no avail. I am open for suggestions.
