LC> May i have one single partition? Not with FAT16. Due to its design limitation, FAT16 partitions are limited to just under 2 GB (=2048 MB) in size. So for a 4.5 GB disk, you'd probably have to partition it out into not less than 3 drives: two 2 GB drives and a 500 MB drive. Or should I "split" it into 3 (2gb each)? From my very limited experience with a hard drive my mom just got (a 6.4 GB Western Digital), you *can* make it all one partition, but when I ran Partition Magic to make sure the partition table and partition structure were okay, it told me that it recommended changing the cluster size to 8K instead of leaving it at 4K. If you use Norton Utilities for Win95 version 2, Disk Doctor may or may not give you grief (FDISK doesn't make very good partitions sometimes, and I had to patch one together manually); but Speed Disk will not work with more than 1,048,576 clusters (at 4K per cluster, that's 4 GB; but at 8K per cluster, that's 8 GB).
