All the games which run with tons of graphics and are best run on a Pentium. Just about every new game on the market is begging for a Pentium. A 486DX2 66 is not nearly enough to run the games he asked about. Especially with only 16meg of RAM. Even Microsoft is turning out games which only work well with a Pentium. JL> Thanks again, Jason Tape drives can be plugged into the parallel port which is usually in the back of your system. Zip drives do the same thing. Streaming tape drives are most often internal drives. Look carefully at any ads you read to see if they indicate whether they are internal or external. There are tape drives which are not Iomega drives which can be external. I have a Zip drive and an internal Ditto tape drive. Dittos usually are external drives. Iomega makes a big deal about any drive it offers if it's an internal drive. They are making their money on external drives. Their is no money in trying to compete with the internal drive makers. Iomega does offer them, but the external drives are their specialty. I've had trouble backing up my drive with the Ditto tape drive. In that, it will not easilly backup the registry. This may only be my problem. I am using a drive which Iomega doesn't push any longer. If you get a Ditto drive or Ditto Max drive from a retailer, check it out fully before sticking with it. The external drives shouldn't have the same kind of problem I'm having. Most people (myself included) will tell you DON'T get a Zip Drive to backup your HDD. It takes far too many disks to backup the whole drive. Auke Reitsma mentioned that he only backs up the data files. It is something you would have to consider when you buy a drive (any drive, for that matter). But, if you want to have the FAT written in alphabetical order you can use a utility called LFNSORT. That stands for Long Filename Sort. That will allow the dos dir command to display your directory listings in alphabetical order, as well as have everything stored in the FAT in order. That way utilities such as PKZIP will store files in alphabetical order. You can also use a modified dir command to display things in alphabetical order and directories first with dir /ogn. This doesn't store things sorted. I do it a different way because I use 4dos, but it is basically the same. I used to put a line in autoexec.bat that said: set dircmd=dir/ogn (I think). That changed my default to have sorted file listings with directories first when I typed dir.
