I have two lines of COOPER'S, that I think one day I will find related. One line was in HORRY COUNTY, SC in mid to late 1600's, think they were French. Some family history says they were ENGLISH. I have not gone back to the mother land yet. The other line was in DUPLIN COUNTY, NC about the same time in 1600's. If you think what I have might help you or what you have will help me. I believe it is called GED2TT. It has been quite a while since I composed mine, but I had downloaded the program file from my BBS. Look in the files area of your BBS, or leave a message to your Sysop asking about it & requesting help. Most will find it and make it available to you. In my case, I only created it once, then I made changes as I needed to & saved to a file once more. It's so easy to insert files into your messages. Ask if you need any help. It is NOT a matching system of any kind. The reader of this area may make use of its contents for his or her own research only. The rules are very simple: 1: TINY TAFELS and discussion concerning those Tiny Tafels ONLY. This area is not designed as a general message area. 2. This echo is a technical echo that is oriented towards quality technical posts, not quantity... 3. Please enter your research as often as you like. Keep it up to date and your chances of finding another person doing work in your area is greatly improved. 4. On a technical note: NO ASCII CHARACTERS ABOVE 127 are allowed in this area. An allowed exception to this rule is the use of "Language-specific" characters which are those from ASCII 128 - 154, 159-167. These characters will be permitted within the body of the Tiny Tafel only. The use of ASCII characters above 127 in other parts of a message is still not allowed. The USA code page (437) will be the "official" code page of this echo. 5. Real names will be used in this echo. Alias names are not permitted. We want to know who to respond to so research can be shared. 6. Leave the moderating to the Moderator and/or Co-Moderator. No discussion of moderation will be tolerated in the echo. If you have a comment or complaint about moderation, do so by netmail only. 7. The posting of a "spam" (blatantly Off Topic) message in this echo will result in an immediate, no-warning feed cut to this echo! -------------------------------------------------------- The Moderator of this conference is Michael Kirst, Sysop of THE NOBLE HOUSE BBS.
