Each node represents a square and each edge is a possible move from that square. Each of the 64 nodes has between 2 and 8 edges. This may be (although I doubt it) a restricted version of the H-Path problem, but if it is you may find (or publish) an algorithm for its solution. Otherwise, the H-Path problem currently does not have an efficient algorithm. -- Don _ _| |_ \. _} sonom@ti.com \( 972-575-6710 --------------7A75DA8DF99754EA003E7E9F Content-Type: text/x-vcard; charset=us-ascii; name="vcard.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: Card for Sonom, Don Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="vcard.vcf" begin: vcard fn: Don Sonom n: Sonom;Don org: Raytheon Systems Company adr;dom: 6600 Chase Oaks Blvd.;;M/S 8490;Plano;TX;75023; email;internet: Xsonom@ti.com title: Software Design Engineer tel;work: 972-575-6710 tel;fax: 972-575-6809 x-mozilla-cpt: 172.25.28.111;2 x-mozilla-html: TRUE version: 2.1 end: vcard --------------7A75DA8DF99754EA003E7E9F-- --- * Origin: Raytheon TI Systems (1:2424/12.1) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 123 CHESS Ref: F2P00009 Date: 02/15/98 From: WACG@WINTERNET.COM Time: 12:41pm \/To: ALL (Read 0 times) Subj: Re: Chess (Important Web!!!). This is a subject that Dirty Don Schultz, USCF President, should be addressing, instead of fighting his endless wars against those whom have made his enemies list. This matter would have been my number one priority had I been elected instead of Schultz. However, knowing Schultz as I do, if he does anything about this, it will be to help the feds track down Fischer so that they can extradict him and send him to prison. It is obviously rediculous to have an international arrest warrant out against Fischer merely for playing a few games of chess.
