Historically, there is a lot of evidence that Yahweh was originally a storm god, as were most of the "Sky-Fathers." However, both Zeus and Jupiter (Deuspater) simply meant "Dayfather" which lie in opposition to both Earth and Moon Goddesses, which probably indicates the Sun as a handy metaphor. However, any of this is inherently messy since Traditional cultures have very different ideas of logical consistency and most European mythological systems are blends of at least two or three very different cultures anyway (usually Celtic, pre-Celtic European, Greek or Roman (which are also blends) and a little early or medieval Christian thrown in to appease the monks that were writing it all down). The HAARP facilities have been offering tours of the site for some time now. The site is not normally occupied by anyone (it really is in the middle of nowhere), but if someone is there, you can call them at (907) 822-5497 or mail the project manager at: John Heckscher Air Force Phillips Laboratory 29 Randolph Road Hanscom AFB, MA 01731-3010 Check out the HAARP home page at: http://server5550.itd.nrl.navy.mil/projects/haarp/index.html The environmental impact statement for the HAARP project is also avalible (probably at most libraries - you people DO remember what a library is, right?). The title of it is "Record of Decision, High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. Final Environmental Impact Statement. 1993". Hope this helps...
