Hi Francine! Thanks very much for your response! No, I'm not in the military. As you said Candida can infect any bodily system (it loves o grow in seminal fluid, I read)... So, one of my health "reaearch" projects in the next little while will be to make a Candida FAQ db .TXT file because I think there is a real need for this. For myself and others.. Herbal remedy? Tell me! Another person suggested both yogurt(sp?) and pau d' Arco... If you knocked this fungus dead in three days... this I gotta know! I have health food stores here, so I can buy them and mix them according to your instructions. A catalog and ordering is not appropriate for me at this time. Apologies. With many Thanks! Yes, I thought of drying my #3 (I'm a guy, BTW), but microorganisms are either aerobic (require oxygen), or anaerobic (no O2) required. I'll have to see if Candida is either one or the other... an perhaps plan a complete drug/herbal/air strategy all at the same time. My Candida (if that's what it is -- strongly suspected) may be systemic now after more than 600 days from the initial infection because my doctor told me I had heart murmur (never had that before!) and have read that yeast can affect the heart valves... Will take you ideas and all others into account. Ahh, yes, I meant to say "can't" douche ... good you caught that! How to do a FAQ? SIMPLE --> just like these messages are in ASCII text format, you and every other contributor simply adds to the text (.TXT) document their experiences and results. It's like a database, except that it can be easily edited, added, appended and updated whenever one wants to. IE: your offline mail reader could probably export a mesage to a text file... if so, then that text file can simply be added or appended with any DOS editor (like MS-DOS EDIT.COM) can you're done! Candida FAQ reddy! Jane, I think this is worth pursuing (FAQ, I mean) and many people would benefit if they have it, and even would be useful for prevention. BTW, was wondering, I tried gargling with some vinegar for last two days to see if there was anyeffect on those throat sores... seems to help a bit, but probably not long enough -- GOD! the cure if often just as bad as the problem, even something relatively minor. Does acetic acid affect tooth enamel? Do you have any suggestions for a gargle using OTC medications or household chems? What ingredients and proportions? With Thanks! LN> Hi, As some one already told you Acidipholous Lactobacillus (sp)-live healthy bacteria is the answer.Go to your health food store and buy the refridgerated type.Cortisone and anti-biotics cannot tell the difference between good and bad bacteria and kill off both. When the healthy bacteria is below normal levels bad like Candida get a chance to run amuck. I would suggest front ending (doubling dose)for the first week this is what I suggest to people also eat the yogurt. This method has worked for many people I know.
