I've tried many alternative health methods as well as put several medical doctor's children through college. Today, a friend gave me an eye mask with the word NIKKEN (TM) across the top and swore it would cure me once and for all. Evidently it's magnetized and by golly, paperclips actually stick to it. Though gullible enough to buy swamp land on a regular basis, this one has me wondering. I'd very much appreciate ANY information, pro or con, about the use of magnetized stuff to cure illness. Is there any merit to this or just an expensive hype? The best I can determine, Craig, there has been some work done in the effect of _strong_ magnetic fields on healing. Some scam artists have taken this work and deicded that any magnetic field must then be curative for just about any ailment. There is absolutely no proper evidence for this except anecdotal evidence of the "post hoc, ergo propter hoc" variety and a few sloppy studies that have no scientific, statistical or medical credibility.
