[quote of my origin line deleted, unreadable gibberish deleted] Listen. I don't know who or what you are - but two lines written in response to FOUR lines is NOT overquoting. Frankly, I've been in the BBS business for over five years, going on six now, and I *know* the appropriate protocols. There was no way I could reply in context to the message without including the four lines I quoted, or I would have. If I had quoted more, I'd have written more. So, I'm ticked. Frankly, receiving an obviously automated, utterly unreadable message with stuff like: MOA> H - ᢥ... with the _ENTIRE_ message I had written attached in full and adding only "Overquoting [+]" is *FAR* more annoying than anything I did. You'd better reassess how you do things. I say this as a former moderator of a backbone echo, no less: Do it manually, or don't bother; do it in some language that maybe someone can actually understand; and don't be a )&#($*& hypocrite. (Given that your unreadable message quoted my message, the original quote, my origin line, and only added TWO substantial words.) Oh, and do it in NETmail, too. As I request any response to this very off-topic message. --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: Fox n' Dragon Inn BBS (472-8313, Victoria, BC) (1:340/44) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 257 ALTERN. Dunno, but.....last time I had something with it in it, I experienced one hand bending partially until I sat on it and got it warmed. After that, I did not eat anything again containing that substance. I was with a party in an Alaskan resturant where the governor was also dining. Not exactly the time and place for an incident. Another person in the party became very ill and had to go outside for a bit. The stuff can be devestating to some people. --- SLMR 2.1a Nothing is so smiple that it can't get screwed up. * Origin: My Desk, Puyallup, WA (253) 845-2418 (1:138/255) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 257 ALTERN. But as long as the bathroom scale is constant at that +/- figure. In my case, a three pound weight gain, especially if due to water retention, will put me right on th edge of Congestive Heart Failure. It is the consistency of the readings that is important, not what the level is.
