Nor am I responsible for what happens to the brain after some years of use of the stuff. It has a few thousand chemicals in it when smoked that tobacco never has had. It causes folks to be so impaired that they are unable to hold a job or remain in school. And it also causes men to have a lousy sex life. Those FACTs alone have been documented in one study after another and also have been widely discussed in N.A. and A.A. groups. * SPITFIRE v3.5 --- FreeMail 1.10 alpha-3 * Origin: PEACHY KEENO INN BBS * Tacoma,Wa * (206)539-0804 (1:138/190.1) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 257 ALTERN. Hence, by your logic, people in htose states anre NOT out of their minds but people in other states ARE outof their minds. I don't think that the legal status of any substance has any relation to its medical efficacy or its toxicity. there are literally thousands of 100% legal substances that are 1,000,000 % more toxic than marijuana, morphine, opium, or cocaine. The reality is that substances aren't legal or illegal based on their toxicity or potential for harm. Such decisions (what is outlawed and what is encouraged) are ALWAYS ENTIRELY political. If marijuana, heroin, and cocaine were the drug of choice in the dominant community, instead of alcohol, they wouold as legal as alcohol or tobacco. They were only outlawed BECAUSE of WHO was using them. Now we all know that is true. So lets put this issue to rest.
