There's a lot of truth in Eastern thought and I'd enjoy studying it better. Because I'm a Christian, however, I'm very careful asto what I incorporate into my beliefs. To be, the Bible and what it contains is the absolute truth, to which the rest must be measured, since it is the word of God, who's power and love I experience and with whom I've got a living relationship. I do believe that its important to have an open mind. After all, the Bible does say: "Test all things". Asto the face-value of thoughts, if you can grasp a thought or concept just like that without thinking about it, how deep can it be anyway! :-) What do you believe in? What do you thing? Stay well! Your quote from Internet sounded just like one of the many advertisements for ginkgo that one can read in the press almost every day. It would be nice if the authors quoted at least some of the 300 studies with "clinical evidence". I am aware that it helps tinnitus patients but all the other claims mentioned need accurate scientific confirmation. SK> That is a lie. No, it's true! In a senior high with just grades 11 and 12, half of the students in that school will graduate. The other half will move on from grade 11 to grade 12 and graduate the next year. In an 8-12 high school, the statistic is even more "shocking": only 20 percent of students will graduate in June! See how easy sleight-of-word can be when you're desperate? By the way, I smoked marijuana in high school, and math was my strongest subject. In fact I wrote scholarship exams in math and physics in my grad year (the required qualification being a final year grade in the ninety-fifth percentile) so so much for the idea that marijuana (permanently) impairs mathematical and logical abilities. -=( T )=- .---------------------------. ---------------------------------------------. | -=( Tommy )=-, SysOp | | H/P/A, Adult, Radio, Humor, Sci-Fi, Scanner | Tommy's Holiday Camp BBS | | Weird Science, Music, Money, ANSi/ASCII Art | 35,000 Text Files Online | | *Quake*, Duke3D, DOOM, Descent, Matchmaker | +1 250 361 4549 USR V34+ | | Diverse Politics, Urban Legends, much more! | +1 250 380 6467 28800 | | BBS Ready Text Files on CD-ROM! | +1 250 360 0628 14400 | | www.vvv.com/~tommy
