I'm trying to use it's /HOST mode to answer the phone and pass the carrier on to Ry, but am having little success. The adaptive answering can determine whether the call is DATA or FAX, and will *accept* the fax, but not the data call. Suggestions? Then either when Jim, what type of a file is this you want to stuff into the QWK packet? I missed this exchange, looks like messages often don't get here in this conference. BTW, just stuffing a file into the QWK packet doesn't mean that the user will be able to read it. If it's a text file, it could be copied to a bulletin file and placed in the QWK directory, but the user would either have to go into a door, or pass the point at which first.bat gets executed. Unless there's a way to execute an external batch file while going into the !logon QWK procedure. --- RyPacker v2.5a * Origin: The Right Place V.34+ DS RyBBS 201-947-8231 (1:2604/539) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 256 RYBBS Ref: CDM00000 Date: 09/17/95 From: AL LAWRENCE Time: 11:14am \/To: ALL (Read 5 times) Subj: NEW Sunrise Doors InterBBS Module! Atlanta, Ga. - September 17, 1995: SUNRISE DOOR SOFTWARE today announces the release its popular InterBBS module (v3.1). Due to the enormous popularity of the InterBBS feature, we have received many requests for enhancements. Our policy has always been to accomodate as many enhancement requests as possible and to this end we have included some of THE most asked for enhancements into this version. The requested enhancements are as follows: (1) Eliminate BATCH file requirements (2) Allow Sysop to define the location of Incomming and Outgoing directories, thus eliminating the need to copy files. (3) Allow for those with Front-End mailers, to send file attaches to their Nodes/HUB/Regionals. (4) Allow for the exchange of messages between BBS' for those Sunrise Doors that allow messaging. (5) Include SETUP programs for both HUBS/REGIONALS and NODES. If you have been holding off participating in a Sunrise Door InterBBS exchange because of the batch file requirements, by all means check out the new version!!! Start your own InterBBS competition or join the International competition being HUBed from our BBS.
