I've been running it under OS/2 for about three months now, and I wouldn't consider doing it any other way. If you decide to go with it, here's a few hints to save you A LOT of headaches. 1. Get your hands on Ray Gwynn's SIO/VSIO comm drivers and replace the drivers that come with OS/2. 2. Locate a program called cfginfo#.zip, and let this help you set up your system to run as good as possible. 3. RyBBS had problems operating under the HPFS (it kept opening files and not closing them), so use RyBBS on a FAT drive. Also, someone told you that switching to OS/2 bbs software would mean you would have to trash all your Dos Doors. NOT! (BTW, I haven't found any OS/2 doors). I'm currently working on setting up AdeptX BBS to replace Rybbs, and it handles DOS doors just fine. jason.
