--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello Greg, A while back I asked you to look into some problems with Internodal chat. You made the improvement I asked for in putting the users name in the chat line instead of just the node number and that seeems to work well, thanks. The other problem I mentioned still exists though. That is when one user pages the other user on the other node. It doesn't work. There is no way that I can find for one caller to get the other caller's attention. I forget the menu command name right now but it doesn't page them, it only puts you in chat mode. Now if both callers should arrange to log on and go into chat mode at the same time, chat does indeed work, it's just that there's no way to signal another caller to go into chat. Can you look into this? Thanks. Jim --- --- SLMR 2.1a Hello, I am part number ޺۳ݳݳ --- RyPacker v2.7 * Origin: RyBBS HomeBase `Home of RyBBS!' I want to increase to 4 lines. How do I do it? I mean what kind of board do I have to get? Can I still run the 2 internal modems and add 2 external modems on the card or must I ditch them and use 4 external modems on the card? Conf: (11) RYBBSOP --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello Greg, I use Rybbs to generate *.msgs and I think there may be a problem with this. I use Squish to handle the *.msgs but often it will send out the *.msgs in the wrong areas. The paths to the echoareas match exactly in my Ryboards.bbs and Squish.cfg yet e very now and then it will send out a messages from my local area, which is message board #1 and is not an echo at all , in another echo. And since these are liable to be private messages, this is not a good thing. The Ryboards.bbs line for my general base is : 1,5, General,c:\rybbs\boards\$gen,fileandreceipt I don't see how this could generate a *.msg, and since there is no corresponding line inn my Squish.cfg, yet messages from this area often get duped back to me from other systems.
