All I can find around here is dark blue, black, and dark brown. I don't want a dark color, as the daytime summer temperature here is 105 or more for most of July and August. Under a dark blue sail cover, this is baking the sail to death at nearly 150 degrees! I just bought a new full-batten main, and I want it to last for a few years. Thanks! I DF> haven't seen any chatter here and thought that with the arrival of Dorothy, Your message got out, at least as far as OMNI BBS in Sacramento. As for the paucity of messages on this echo, it is largely due to the explosive growth of the Internet. There are several scuba newsgroups on USENET now, and they are draining off a lot of the divers who used to be active here on FIDO Net. I'm no exception, as I only check my mail account on this BBS once or twice a month nowadays instead of nearly every day. Hope you are getting in some good diving. At least I know this echo works...I can't say the same for all of them though:( Living here on the Emerald Coast it is always fun to watch the folks out there sailing. Now all I need is a sail boat to really have fun. To the gentleman that was asking about Sunbrella sails. Why not call the fabric mfg and ask for a list from them of companies that deal with boat sails. I think they would help you because it would also help them when the company has to order more material. Just a thought. I know we used that fabric in purses. Made them real durable. Again thanks!
