As for speed and handling, get an RX-7. However, make -> sure it's very low mileage and it really was driven by a little -> old lady! I probably would have prefered an RX-7 over the Supra, but I was getting desperate for transportation and the Supra was available. Picked it up last weekend. Not overly thrilled though... I really wanted a Porsche. The Victoris thing sounds like fun. Don't think I'll be sailing over though unless someone wants me as crew. I'm heading off in April for a 2 week trip to someplace that I haven't yet determined; and I'm doing the Vancouver-Nanaimo-Vancouver single handed race in May, so I think any sailing I do between now and then will be day trips. Something like that would be a real plus when racing -> in unfamiliar waters. After all, we generally hammer the out -> of town boats in the bay. I've heard the "Tides and Currents" program is good. NavTek navigation software comes with the Tides and Currents program included. I'm not exactly ready to spen $700 (Canadian) on it just yet, but it may be what I select for next year... or maybe this summer . I bought a laptop and GPS to take aboard, but am still resolving the "power source" issue. Went out and got an inverter but I still haven't tried it yet. I do have fun playing with this stuff at home though! . In other words, it doesn't seem to be a very economical car to operate... geez, tires are $1,000!!! I can see all these hotshot guys with their wheel steering that can use their dampeners, but what about the poor souls with tillers!?
