Yep... at work I use the metric system... at home I use the English system (which the English don't even use anymore)... and on the boat.. the NM.... When non-sailors ask how fast we are going, I look at the knot meter and just tell them without a unit... at speeds of 4 - 5 knots (and 1 -2 knots in the Texas summer) it doesn't make much difference if they think it's mph .... --- * Origin: Starboard ...
