This is all done and the program works fine in windows under dos but when I try to run it in a win/os2 session I get the following error message... Win32s - Error Missing numeric co-processor virtual device driver (VMCPD) I am using Warp3 with Windows for Work Groups 3.11 and version 1.30 of Win32s. Is there a solution to this or am i right in saying that version 1.3 of win32s doesnt like os2 and I will have to downgrade to version 1.25? The machine is a 486-dx/100 with 20 meg RAM Any help would be most welcome. The problem is that when I exit from the program I get the following error message: "Applic Error. GCP 242 caused a General Protection Fault in module USER.EXE @ 0001.7EE0. Choose close. GCP242 will close" I am assuming this is a memory configuration problem but am not sure what setting in the settings notebook to play with. This program runs well under Win 3.1. The DOS prots run fine when I am in a dos screen, but I need Squish/2 to be able to use them so I don't have to process mail manually. This apparently is also causing some difficulty with Renewave, even though it is for DOS. It wasn't compressing the packet for me, and upon checking the logs, noticed "archiver unsuccessful". If you can recommend something that it a "multi-archive" program for OS/2, or have DOS prots working with an OS/2 mailer, please let me know! ~~~ ReneWave v2.00 [NR] --- e-mail dmatchbbs@paonline.com * Origin: Shattered Mentality: 717-540-0655 (1:270/124) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 252 OS2 DOS Ref: E4X00001 Date: 04/27/97 From: RICH WONNEBERGER Time: 08:12pm \/To: BILL KELLER (Read 3 times) Subj: Snappy *** Quoting Bill Keller to All dated 04-16-97 *** > Can anyone help me with installing Snappy? the first thing it wants > to do is ( I think ) add win32 support- can't tell because the > install > prgm for it comes up in Italian. > managed to see the demo, just can't get it to work.
